The Urban Reader Book Club Reads Happy City

By October 21, 2015 No Comments

For the inaugural edition of the Urban Reader Book Club, we’re reading Charles Montgomery’s Happy City, an engaging study of how we can dream, design, develop, and live in happier, healthier cities. At our October 21 event, a lineup of multidisciplinary guests will pitch their perspectives on the book. We’ll use these pitches as a starting point for the conversations that follow, exploring the book’s intersection with a broad range of city building issues and ideas in the GTHA and abroad. We’ll host an open, participatory discussion around the key question, “How happy is your city?”
